Turin International Book Fair

We work with the Book, Music and Culture Foundation to provide the technological infrastructure to realize the Turin International Book Fair and related events.

We created the web portal and we manage it by renewing it from year to year with new technological solutions. We provide a simple and fast editing tool, with different administration levels depending on the roles.

Over the years, a series of interconnected web-based applications have been created, promoting a work environment that allows the organization to manage every aspect of the event. The platform interfaces with third-party applications through tailor-made APIs, providing all the material required by the Customer: data extraction, statistics and prints. The system structure behind the portal and the management services is flexible and able to support the great number of website visits and the web services without disservices, either to users or editorial staff.

During the event, we scale the structure by organizing it in border web servers, database servers and cloud storage, managing everything in a flexible way. We manage the accreditation flow for journalists, teachers, school staff and professionals: user registration, automatic accreditation with a barcode, ticket management, users information control and modification.

The International Book Fair of Turin uses the exhibitors' web application, that allows the exhibitors to enroll their participation and manage their profile and their exhibitor catalog card. The organization is able to manage the data of exhibitors and participation flows more easily, assigning at the end the accreditation passes to access the event that each user can simply download and print before reaching the fair.

Since the 2019 edition, the apps for iOS and Android devices have been developed by Risolviamo.

The Turin International Book Fair is the most important Italian event in the field of publishing. It takes place in May and presents a dense calendar of conferences, shows, book presentations and educational initiatives. The fair is addressed to both professionals and readers. It is the second book fair in Europe by number of exhibitors and the first by number of visitors.
